Harry Potter Chocolate Frogs and Card

Extraordinary find. In 2001 the British department store Marks & Spencer produced the first ever Harry Potter chocolate frogs and chocolate frog cards for sale to British Harry Potter readers and fans. Eight individual milk chocolate frogs were sold in each box along with one collectible “magic Harry Potter” chocolate frog card. There were a total of eight cards in the card series. These were the first Harry Potter chocolate frogs and chocolate frog cards produced in the world. There have been successive editions of both the candies and collector cards (two additional versions of the frogs in Europe, Australia and Asia; six additional versions of the chocolate frogs in the US). But these were the very first. A true collector’s item. Quite rare. Not to be eaten. And most likely not to be opened. Once the box is unsealed and opened it will lose a great deal of it’s potential value to collectors. From the very first days of Harry Potter excitement and one of the first Harry Potter products made, this original box of chocolate frogs and a “magic Harry Potter card” are a return to the first moments of discovering Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and the hidden wizarding world in our midst!
